8 Hours Later

I finished the final Harry Potter book. I read the entire thing in 8 hours. That's 100 pages an hour, approximately. That, my friends, is craziness. Also, I'm very impressed with myself. :)

It's a great book. You can check out Rachel's blog about the same thing with the link to the right...it pretty much says all that I wanted to say about it.

I am sad that it's the last book of the series, it was something to look forward to every 2 years or so. But all good things must come to an end, and preferably while they are still excellent. And this book was excellent.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again. If you haven't read any of the Harry Potter books, shame on you. You're missing out on true, engaging fiction and a fabulous story that makes it hard to put the book down. The only thing I'm upset about now is that I can't talk about it with anyone, since everyone I know around here is still on page 100 and something...maybe I'll have to call Rachel.
