No more pencils...
It is finished. Moving, that is. An excellent team of friends and family showed up at my apartment on Saturday, and within 3 hours, we had moved my stuff into my new apartment (with some ridiculous narrow stairway navigation by the furniture wielding men), and had eaten pizza in celebration. So it was a great success. And I thank all involved who are reading this. Of which I think there is one person. :)
My new apartment is so fabulous. My mom went to town unpacking my belongings, and there are only 5 or 6 boxes left in the whole place, which is wonderful. It takes a lot less work to unpack than pack, I think. I hope to put up some pictures soon, so y'all can see what it looks like, but I need to find time to hook up my laptop to Scott's high-speed modem to put them up here. Now that I am home phone-less, no dial-up or anything, I am dependent upon my friends to help me upload. :) And with Scott in rehearsals every day, it makes it more difficult to find that time to hook up the computer! So be patient, but I will try to get them up soon!
Scott and I were hanging out this weekend with our dear friends Tyler and Jenny, and we had a great time with them, around the moving in business. They recently moved to LA, and seeing them again reminded us how much we miss them. It was sad to say our goodbyes last night, not knowing when we will see them again. Last night, Tyler, Scott and I went to this diner down the street from me at 11:30 at night, and in talking, Tyler mentioned how tired I looked. And Scott mentioned that I can relax now, because all of my stressful times are over. Which is totally true. I have to donate some of my belongings to the Salvation Army in the next two days, I have to finish cleaning my old apartment, and I have to get my car fixed, as it is way overdue for some routine maintenance and sucking gas like crazy, which is unacceptable in this overpriced gas ridiculousness. Other than that, I am done. I get to sleep, read, watch TV, go to work, go to my internship, go to my drama group, and go out with my friends. That's it. How awesome is that?!
I love summer vacation. I LOVE SUMMER VACATION!!!!!
YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
