Pebbles-y

I have this secret that I will divulge to you right now if you PROMISE you won't tell anyone. If I want to be perkier than I feel at the moment, I do this trick with my hair where I put in a ponytail very high up on my head, mere inches from being an actual top-of-my-head-with-a-bone-Pebbles look, and it makes me look instantly more perky. Or Valley Girl-esque, which translates well to perky. Anyway, so this morning, I have elevated my ponytail to Everest-worthy heights, and pumped up my OkGo cd on my way in to work. Both of these things, along with the mighty prayers offered up last night by my Parable and Alpha friends, have resulted in my being significantly more perky today than in the previous, oh, eight weeks or so. This is important, because my cousin Anna has popped into town this weekend, and we are going for sushi tonight, and I am so excited to see her and get all caught up on her life. I have waxed poetic before on my fabulous relationships with my cousins, but I will say it again, they are truly on my list of my favorite people, and I love every moment that I get to spend with them, and wished all of them lived here so I could hang out with them all the time and giggle uproariously into the night. Additionally, they are among the most faithful readers of this here blog, so a shout out to them right now...love you!




Alrighty then. So, in case you had not yet figured this out, the play goes up next week. As in a week from yesterday for the private benefit show. As in 6 days. EEK! I'm so excited! :) Also, I hope that I remember my lines. But mostly, I'm just excited. Here is a postcard with the details. And the marvelous graphic design work of a brilliant girl named Tawnya...
