And life goes on...

So, the Bears lost in the Superbowl. In a mighty, horrific, Rex Grossman is a moron kind of way. But, alas, life moves on. I'll get over it eventually.

To update you on the auditions, I was offered the part of Sarah in the upcoming play at church. I'm super excited, it'll be fun to get on up there and have fun with her character. The fact that she is already a fun character will make it that much easier. More details about the play as it comes along, I'm guessing...

In other news, it's the coldest it's been in Chicago in 11 years. So all of my cousins who left town because it was too cold...you haven't seen anything like it is today. It's almost miraculous. I feel like I'm living in the Alaskan tundra. Actually, with the exception of the fact that my car takes like an hour to warm up in the morning, it really doesn't feel that cold (it's days like today when I would really appreciate a remote starter on my car!). The temperature was -9 degrees this morning with a windchill of -27 degrees. This is difficult for those taking public transportation, I'm sure, but as for me and my Honda, we're doing okay. It just feels like winter. It's cold no matter what, so what does an extra 10 to 15 degrees of negative temperature matter? Eventually, it will be spring. Actually, this weekend, it will be 30's. This will feel like spring to me, I'm almost positive.

That's your Redheaded Ramber update for today. Stay warm and classy, Chicagoland!

Yea! You got a part! Woo Hoo! I was praying for you! Tyler and I are so bummed that we won't be there to see it/you.

Sorry about the Bears.. Rex sucks. And I can give that opinion definately after only watching 2 Bears games this season.

And sorry about the cold. It's about 80 degrees here! Sucker! He he he!

Hey, girl! Sounds like you've been busy since our days way back at Calvin! I've occassionally wondered what you've been up to all these years, and now I can see! Blogs are kind of weird like that, I think.

I've been a bit busy these past years, too. Mosty raising two gorgeous children: Gloria, 4 and David, 1. And now we live in Iowa! If it hadn't been for Calvin, I wouldn't have known anything about Iowa before we moved here.

I'm not sure who all can read these comments, so I don't know how to give you my contact info. I'll check your blog again in the next day or two. Can't believe I found you!

Jen--
Yeah, but Chicago at negative 5 is still better than LA at 80, I assure you. :)

Hee, hee, hee!

Miss you and wish you could see me, too!
