I can't believe how much I love this kid

Luke (picks up phone, says matter-of-factly): Hi, Weesy.

Me: Hi, Luke!! Are you at Mama's house right now?

Luke: Mm-hm.

Me: And did you bake cookies today? (I know this, because whenever my nephew is at his grandma's house, they bake cookies)

Luke: Mm-hm.

Me: Luke, guess what? Tomorrow I get to see you for THANKSGIVING!

Luke: (Huge smile, according to my sister, who would not lie about such things)

Luke: Seyamora! (Kary interprets this: See you tomorrow!) Bye Weesy.
