Blog shift, not seismic, just tiny

The other day, I was driving (of course) home from my internship, and I was listening to a restaurant reviewer on the radio. What a job, I thought to myself. I want that job. To eat out all the time and write about it. And get paid for it. FABULOUS!

Then I started thinking. Well, I'm certainly not going to get paid for it, but there's no reason I can't write about my daily goings out. I mean, I go to enough restaurants, I certainly should inform you, my general reading public, about that. Also, because I'm sure that's much more interesting than the conversations that Scott and I have about drinking. (Kidding, kidding, I know, we're hi-larious!)

So now I'm going to start my own going-out blog on this site. Including reviews on things such as movies, restaurants and general bandying about town...you could always use a little more knowledge on my bandying, can't you?

But before I move on to that, I'd like to pat myself on the back quick a second and say that I made pot roast this weekend. Which takes all of two seconds, really, but I made that and cookie bars, and really, that's a lot of domestic effort for me. Betty Crocker ain't got nothin' on me. Actually, I think good ol' Betty is dead, so she really doesn't have anything on me. :)

So read on, my dutiful friends and blog-readers. All three of you. And find out what this great town is offering these days...
