Exhaling

Whew! It's May 2. I've been waiting for May 2 for months now. I'm so excited! My last final was last night, and it went well, I think. It's interesting how you can leave a test thinking that you did well, and then as the time goes on (the latency increases, as they say in the research world), you start to doubt your abilities more and more. Anyway, it's over. My grades are in the hands of those two professors, and we'll see how it all turns out.
The play is done, as well. "Hank" went well, and was a success for all involved. And now I can finally lay aside all of my bitterness and heal, for good, I hope. I need to heal. I hate being broken, it comes out at the WORST times. Fortunately, I am surrounded by understanding friends and the BEST boyfriend EVER!!
And in two days, I'll be surrounded by palm trees and sandy beaches! WOO-HOO!!!! I'm going to Florida with my parents to our place down there. They have offered to pay my way to lay on the beach and relax after the stress of the past few months, so I took them up on that offer. And the following weekend, it's down to Cancun, MX for my best friend Janelle's wedding. I've been studying up on my important Spanish, "¡Otra bebida alcoholica, por favor!" (for those of you who are not Spanish speaking, "Another alcoholic beverage, please!). See, those four years of Spanish were far too intensive. Who needs to know how to conjugate verbs when you can ask for a drink??
Anyway, two weekends of sand and surf, starting the day after tomorrow...I'm a lucky girl. Exhaling rocks!!
