Breather
Yippee!!!!! I have a night off!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love being in "Ghost Stories" and I'm having a great time. But having a monologue last weekend for Semeiotic, midterms last week for grad school, then the opening of "Ghost Stories" this past weekend made for a hectic couple of weeks (cough*month*cough). Tonight, I get to watch TV!!!! Yippee!!! Ok, so I know that I watched the Bears game last Monday night, but believe you me, that was not relaxing for me. Did you see that game? It was CRAZY! Anyway, tonight, I get to watch my favorite TV show, "Studio 60" and chill out a bit. And exercise. This is important because...
...in the world of my worries, my cholesterol results came back today at a robust 212. I'm insane. Somehow, I have gotten it into my head that I can eat Quarter Pounders with cheese every day and life will be fine in my arteries. So today, I reluctantly trudged off to Subway and got a low-fat high-veggie turkey sub. And water, since my soda consumption lately has decided to settle right in the area around my hips. And then I came back to work and had two chocolate chip peanut butter chip cookies. Hey, I need some fun in my life! Seriously, I'm not in too much danger, since I have a "good" cholesterol (somehow, I think this is an oxymoron) of 67, which is seriously high, (and only comes from exercise...this strikes me as odd, being that I don't exercise), which means that the good cholesterol is drano-ing my bad cholesterol away, but I still need to put a lid on my fast food consumption. It's ridiculous. And expensive. But mostly artery-clogging, which I have decided is not good. I want to live long enough to be a cranky old lady, running after kids in the street yelling, "You kids!!!" We'll see, hmmm?
But today, there shall be exercise. Then Studio 60. Then bed. Yay.
