Celebration
Tonight, it's a celebration night. My monologue over the weekend, an incredibly vulnerable and difficult experience for me, leaving my whole family in tears, went well for all three performances. Thanks to Scott for all his hard work directing and behind the scenes, and to Jake and Tyler...Jake, for saying "Don't suck" and "Don't disappoint your family" right before I walked on stage, and Tyler, for reassuring me that I would do great, trying to offset Jake's comments. Both added some much needed levity to my mind right before all the performances, and it was great to spend a weekend catching up with and hanging out with them. I am so fortunate to have such great friends. I also got to catch up with my roomie Kristin this weekend, which was overdue and much needed. And she gave me flowers and a bottle of wine for my birthday (yay!! Love those gifts!!). So tonight, Scott and I are going to settle in with some sushi and some wine to celebrate, and watch the Bears kick the snot out of the Arizona Cardinals. Midterms be damned. I am ready for some football!!!

And you didn't and you couldn't suck. It was great.
I already kind of miss last weekend, all of us together at once for four days in a row. It never happens, we need to make sure it happens again soon.
I agree, my friend. I agree.
