Holiday (to the tune of Madonna)

It's Friday, AND it's a holiday weekend!

Ok, I'm a little excited. Yay holidays! I am a particularly big fan of Monday holidays. GENIUS. I get to sleep in on a Monday!

This weekend, I am doing a serious of random events. I am getting my hair cut (hallelujah!), going to my block party (beer tasting!), going to a poker party (happy b-day, Zach! Let's see how bad I am at poker!), and going miniature golfing. Doesn't that just sound fun?

In other news, there was a news story breaking as I was on my way to the gym this morning that John McCain is picking a woman as his vice-president candidate. The gym is literally in an uproar, as the Obamaniacs freak out. I don't normally discuss politics on this blog, as I am firmly disgusted with all of the choices available to me, and don't agree with pretty much anything anyone says. I would like to live in a country with 6 parties at the minimum, so I can find someone that I like even at least a little bit. But all I will say with the John McCain announcement, if it turns out to be true, is that this is about to get REALLY interesting...
