AND I'M BACK!
If I have any readers left, that is. After Blogger SHUT DOWN MY BLOG because their so-called "robots" thought I was a spam blogger. For the SECOND time!! I say (and say loudly), "Reprogram your robots, Blogger. There is nothing even remotely spam-ish about me!" Actually, there's not anything all that interesting in this here blog, so why they would go to all that trouble is beyond me. But there's not a lot more frustrating than really wanting to write and not having an outlet. Yes, yes, I know that I could've written it out in Word and then posted it later. But I didn't, I just got really mad at Blogger (I'm still mad, Blogger, we're not speaking right now! Just so you know!!!), and then shut down the computer. So brilliant thoughts have been lost, finding their individual wordy ways back into my unconsciousness, maybe never to be heard from again. It is sad, tragic, really. Who knows the brilliance that will remain unpublished??? So if I cannot talk with brilliance, I will move on to shopping...
In other news, I have an addiction to the Lill Studio (www.1154lill.com). Which I already knew, but I feel like you should know. Also, for those relatives of mine in Boston and Kansas City who read this blog, they have them there. You are informed and officially forewarned. For those of you not blessed with a location in your city, you can make your purchases online. Again, forewarned. 1154 Lill Studio is a custom purse-design studio. And it is expensive. ($110-120 average, I would say, for your everyday handbag.) Yes, ridiculous. However, once you make one, you cannot flipping stop going there. Because their fabric choices change every six months or so, so you can make an ALL NEW design for yourself. And they're fabulously cute. I get so many (many, many, many) compliments on my purses from there. And I use them everyday, so I try to equate the cost with how much use you're going to get out of them (this works in rationalizing purchases to your psyche, but not necessarily to your checkbook!).
Today, I went in there with my best friend, Janelle, who is having her first baby in 5 weeks. My present to her is a diaper bag from Lill Studio, so, of course, she got to design it herself. It's super cute black with a gray/lime green pattern on the flap and a fuschia stripe. It fits her personality perfectly. But then, there I am, lusting after pattern after pattern and wanting to make my own purse, even though I am already paying for hers. So I gave in (eek!), and here is the result, to be mine in 3-4 weeks:

I am addicted, and I should be ashamed of myself. But I have to tell you, I can't wait to show you my new purse!!
