My kind of lists
Everyone I know has lists on their blog somewhere. The only list I have is why I'm thankful I'm not Suri Cruise. There are far better lists to have. For instance.
FOOD LISTS:
Top 10 List of Best "I'm bored" snack foods:
10.) Pringles
9.) Cool Ranch Doritos
8.) Take 5 bars
7.) Hershey Kisses
6.) M & M's
5.) Milk Duds
4.) Chocolate covered pretzels
3.) Ridged potato chips and Kraft or Dean's French Onion Dip (and please with your low-fat stuff. Give me the real deal.)
2.) Reese's peanut butter cups
1.) Miniature snickers.
My top 10 Chicago restaurants and my favorite foods at each...I love food...
10.) Brownstone Tavern: Southwest Steak wrap
9.) Tank Sushi: Alakan Roll
8.) Vivo: Pistachio encrusted halibut
7.) Scoozi: Ravioli Trio (butternut squash ravioli...yum!)
6.) Chicago Chop House: Prime Rib
5.) Joy Yee's in Evanston or Chinatown: Broccoli Beef and Mango Freeze with fruit and tapioca
4.) Magnolia Cafe: Beef short ribs
3.) Nacional 27: The beef tenderloin medallions are to die for.
2.) Cafe Ba-ba-reeba: Everything! Hmmm. The bacon-wrapped dates, the tuna stuffed roasted tomato, and the goat cheese with marinara. But I've never had anything that I didn't love off their tapas menu.
1.) Rise Sushi and Sake: The salmon avocado roll is my favorite. I also love the fire roll, the honey roll and their dragon roll.
MOVIE LISTS:
My top 10 favorite movies that make me glad that I'm a girl and I can get away with watching cheesy chick flicks and blaming it on my hormones...
10.) The Cutting Edge (ah, high school)
9.) Sweet Home Alabama (yes, I'm aware that it's not a quality movie, Jen...)
8.) Sleepless in Seattle
7.) Emma
6.) Runaway Bride
5.) Bridget Jones' Diary
4.) Something New
3.) In Her Shoes
2.) Pride and Prejudice (the new one)
1.) You've Got Mail
My 10 favorite teeny-bopper movies that I totally shouldn't like because I am far too old, and they're horrible, and it's ridiculous, but I still love them a little bit...
10.) Drive Me Crazy
9.) The Princess Diaries
8.) Never Been Kissed
7.) Can't Hardly Wait
6.) Save the Last Dance
5.) Clueless (ok, at least I was in high school for this one!)
4.) Sky High
3.) What a Girl Wants
2.) 10 Things I Hate About You
1.) Mean Girls
Hee, hee!!! I told you they were ridiculous. :)
OTHER LIST:
And finally, the top 10 list of the women I would like to be if I was not me (mostly actresses, I know, shocking):
10.) Rachael Ray (ah, to be surrounded by food and get paid to eat. And to be able to cook.)
9.) Rachel McAdams (so cute it's ridiculous)
8.) Jennifer Aniston (please. Would've killed to be on Friends, and she had the best wardrobe. Plus, her real life, while tortured, still ain't bad)
7.) Kristin Chenoweth (Glinda in the original Broadway production of "Wicked". Did I tell you how much I loved that show?? Also, not afraid to say she's a Christian)
6.) Jennifer Garner (just so I could've worn all those fabulous Alias costumes. Not because of her personal life...no thank you...)
5.) Condaleeza Rice (Yes, her job is ridiculously high stress. But she's extremely intelligent, she's a football fanatic, AND she gets to ride on Air Force One and military helicopters a lot. And have Secret Service guys follow her everywhere. Sweet.)
4.) Keira Knightley (just so I could be in Pride and Prejudice...and work with Johnny Depp...)
3.) Scarlett Johannson (Ah, to be that beautiful. And making that much money...)
2.) Toni Collette (an amazing actress who is completely believable as a real person...difficult in Hollywood...)
1.) Reese Witherspoon (everyone loves her, who wouldn't want that? Plus, she has a stable home life that is remarkable)
Ok, I think that's enough on the lists for today! If you've got any, feel free to add them into my comments...
